Use the form below to upload a tool to share with the Toolshed community. We will review your submission and publish it as a TOOL on the site, if approved by our editors!

We are looking for tools that create a more livable future. This includes tools to achieve social justice and equity; tools to build community resiliency; tools to lower greenhouse gas emissions; tools to reduce waste; tools to change minds; tools to think and act ecologically, etc.

  • This is the bold, all caps title for your tool that will appear on the site.
  • In case we need to get in touch with you about your submission. This information will not be published with post or shared with anyone.
  • This is the lead image for your tool. It will appear on the home page and above your description.
  • Describe the tool you have in mind briefly. Define it and give it some context.
  • Tell us what the tool accomplishes or helps to accomplish. Keep in mind the four categories of Toolshed, but you do not need to explicitly mention these. This does not need to be straightforward but certainly can be. For example, we are interested in ideas, techniques and even images as much as hammers and saws.
  • Describe how someone could find and access the tool. Also include here any relevant information about the origin of the tool. Identify the culture(s), organization(s) or person(s) that developed it. Is its application specific to a region?
  • Add links or other information on how the Toolshed community can access this tool, learn about it or find other resources that can help understand it.
